FACILITIES

Carringbush Park is a 35 acre property located in Moorooduc on the Mornington Peninsula. The Mornington Peninsula is the perfect mix of country air and a moderate climate, with the sophisticated facilities of the city.

This fabulous property has its own 800 metre training track, 50 extra large sand based covered stables as well as 14 day yards and 12 large grass paddocks. We also have an 8 horse walking machine and 15 metre undercover round yard.

In 2019 we have also constructed an arena which will be used for some basic flat work which is good for a mix up of training. There will also be an area for jumping.

The property is also close to Mornington racetrack, which we use daily for the majority of the track work for the horses.

The Mornington Racecourse has become a major provincial training facility for thoroughbred training and racing in Victoria. Matt takes advantage of all the facilities at Mornington, including the several sand tracks, brand new grass track and the swimming pool.

Mornington Racing Club hold regular barrier trials for all trainers to enter to prepare their horses for racing.

You can meet him down there each morning from 4am onwards.

We are also close to Balnarring and Safety Beach horse beaches.

Matt also uses the facilities and professional services provided by Fulmen Park located at Moorooduc, for spelling and pre-training on the Aquaciser.

Their 25 years of experience sees Fulmen Park as a trusted partner in the care of all Matt’s horses.

Matt often utilises the aquaciser at Fulmen Park which is located just around the corner from our property in Moorooduc. The professional services provided by the team at Fulmen for both spelling and pre-training on the Aquaciser is a vital part of our success.
