Stable matriarch MOONLOVER continued her outstanding form this preparation with a gusty, front running win at Geelong in the Listed Shojun Concrete Stakes over 1200m.

The multiple city winning daughter of Ilovethiscity, was given a brilliant front running ride by jockey Mark Zahra and lead the entire 1200 meter race. Once again, the 5 year old mare's "toughness" was evident as she fought off the rest of the field to win by a long neck.

MOONLOVER's ninth win was her first in a stakes race and increases her total prizemoney earned to $400,080 and of course, earning her all-important black type status.

The entire team at Matt Laurie Racing is thrilled for her and her winning connections.

Congratulations!
