Chilled wins the Without Fear Stakes at Morphettville

Chilled and Michael Dee
Exciting 2yo filly Chilled has continued her excellent form winning the listed Without Fear Stakes at Morphettville, ridden by Michael Dee.
Fast out of the gates, the Shalaa x Sauvignon (Pierro) filly was in touch throughout the early scorching stages over the 1050m dash; her toughness and will to win was clear in the straight as she fought to the line to score by half a length.
Jockey Michael Dee was impressed with her performance. "It was an amazing effort today. She jumped well, put herself up there and she gave a really good kick. She was tough - she tried really hard. She pinned her ears back and had a real crack."
This was Chilled's second win at Morphettville, having travelled to South Australia a month earlier winning over 1100m. In between her two wins at Morphettville, she ran second at Mornington (her only Victorian start) over 1200m.
Prior to that in December 2022 she raced in New South Wales and Queensland running 3rd at both Warwick Farm and Sunshine Coast. In five starts, Chilled has not missed a placing and has amassed $127,170 in prizemoney.
Chilled was a $125,000 purchase for Snippets Racing Sydnications/Peter Morgan/Matt Laure Racing from the 2022 Gold Coast Magic Millions yearling sale.
