WELCOME TO MATT LAURIE RACING
Matt Laurie is currently one of Mornington's most successful trainers. He has a loyal band of long term owners, many of which have raced numerous horses with him over the past decade; a fact that we take great pride in. New owners are of course always welcome so please contact us if you would like any information with regard to joining our stable.
Based in Moorooduc on the Mornington Pensinsula, our property is a quiet and spacious facility where the horses are stabled overnight and generally turned out during the day in one of our many paddocks.
Our property possesses a 1000m sand track, a 60 x 35m arena, a horse walker and treadmill and overall has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere for the horses.
We also use Mornington Racetrack on a daily basis with their excellent facilities.

I AM INVINCIBLE x GIRL GONE ROCKIN' 2022 yearling colt $357,000 - We are thrilled to have secured this outstanding colt. Matt felt that this horse was a $500k plus prospect in the sale ring and fortunately for us we were able to secure him at a lot less than we valued him for. I AM INVINCIBLE needs no introduction; he is a champion sire and his service fee reflects that at $275k. This is a really nice style of horse from a young group winning mare by Redoute's Choice in GIRL GONE ROCKIN' (Matriarch Stakes).
BLUE POINT x KENEDNA 2022 yearling colt $597,000 - This is a very classy colt from dual Group 1 winning mare KENEDNA, a winner of 10 races (eight stakes races) between 1200m to 2200m and over 2 million dollars in prizemoney, and by the two-time winner of the Group 1 Royal Ascot King's Stand Stakes in Irish stallion BLUE POINT. His second dam MISS DODWELL (half sister to stakes winners YAMMER and BLAB) has produced 8 foals to race and all are winners including stakes winners SPILL THE BEANS and KENEDNA.

She is obviously a really lovely style of filly and as she has got a lot of UNCLE MO about her, we thought she was a super prospect for not a great deal of money, especially with such a current family with the likes of sprinting superstar COOLANGATTA listed on her page.
